- Begin reading and analyzing your poem; please thoughtfully respond to all poem analysis questions!
- Brainstorm what your butterfly is going to look like. The shape? The colors? Pictures? Words? Remember, it must represent your poem and your poet!
- Start making your butterfly; neatness, creativity, and effort are required!
- Reflect upon your understanding of the poem and the creation of your butterfly as you write your journal response.
